Recycling, reusing and creating with Palm Beach Collection

What a great idea by one of our stockists Palm Beach Collection.

Its all about recycling, reusing and creating with your old Palm Beach Candle glass jars…..

If you don’t have a jar then contact us at Coastal Life today to enjoy these luscious candles first.

To grow your very own flowering bulbs you will need:
• Bulbs of your choice – daffodils, hyacinths and tulips work well
• Potting soil
• 3 X empty Palm Beach Collection candle jars

1. Bulbs need to be chilled before they will grow, to simulate winter, so you can purchase them pre-chilled or place some in your fridge for 8-12 weeks.

2. Once bulbs have been chilled, they will sprout roots.

3. Fill each jar approximately ¾ full with potting soil

4. Plant one bulb per jar, root side down. The bulb should be planted at a depth twice its width, just so the top is sitting out of the soil.

5. Once planted, leave the jars in a warm place like the kitchen for around 3 weeks, until the leaves have fully grown.

6. When the flower buds start appearing, move the jars to a warm and sunny position until they bloom.

7. Once the bulbs are flowering, remove from direct sunlight to ensure you get the most of their flowering time.

Enjoy!
